Returns, Refunds and Exchange Policy
RETURNS AND EXCHANGE
Jewelry that is dropped shipped from our supplier, or shipped by Gemtree Creative Designs from our supplier's stock can be returned within 14 days of purchase for refund only. All items must be returned in their original packaging. All jewelry must be returned unworn, undamaged, and in sellable condition. Any jewelry, such as Roman Glass jewelry, that has a certificate of authenticity must be returned with the certificate of authenticity. Any free gifts that were shipped with your purchase must also be returned with the item you are returning for refund. If the free gift is not returned with the item we will reserve the right to not accept the return. Any jewelry or other return items that do not meet these return specifications will be returned to the buyer at the buyer's expense and no refund will be given. There are no exceptions to this policy other than a buyer's receipt of an item with a manufacturing defect. You must contact Gemtree Creative Designs to request a RETURN AUTHORIZATION NUMBER by phone at (520) 308-4761 FOR ALL RETURNS. If claiming a manufacturing defect you must request a special DEFECT RETURN AUTHORIZATION NUMBER. Any returns received without a return authorization number or a defect return authorization number will be sent back to the buyer at their expense and no refund will be given. The client is responsible for returning the item(s) pre-paid and insured to Gemtree Creative Designs. Credit card purchases and PayPal purchases will be refunded against the credit card or account used on the original purchase. We reserve the right to not accept a return. All items are subject to a 15% restocking fee unless the return is due to a manufacturers defect. The restocking fee will be deducted from your refund. We also do not refund the original shipping and handling that you paid on the order. Please allow 10-14 days after we receive your return for credit to be processed. Please note it may take 1-2 billing cycles for your credit to appear on your statement.
Returns and Exchanges are subject to the following restrictions:
- We inspect all returned items when they arrive.
- The item must be returned in its original condition, unworn and unaltered in any way.
- The original Invoice and the correct Return Authorization Number must accompany the returned item.
- Non-insured packages will be returned to sender.
- Shipping charges are not refundable.
- Refunds on purchases made with a credit card will only be credited to the same card.
- Items that have been worn by the client, or damaged by the client, cannot be returned.
- If you return a partial order, we will refund you for the returned items only.
- If you received a free gift with your order, you must also return the free gift or you may not receive a refund.
- If you received a certificate of authenticity with your order, you must also return it or you will not receive a refund.
- We reserve the right to not accept a return.
- All returns for refund must be in sellable condition or you will not receive a refund
While our policies are firm for obvious reasons, we will do everything we can to work with you and make sure your experience with us is positive. This includes exchanging any items that have a manufacturers defect. When replacing a defective item we will pay for the shipment of the replacement to you. Any shipping charges you incur to ship a defective item back to us will be noted and deducted from the total price of your next order with us.
RETURNS ON CUSTOM DESIGNED JEWELRY PIECES
We take great pride in the custom designed silver jewelry made here at Gemtree Creative Designs. Any of our custom jewelry that is not personalized with initials, names, or other unique characteristics is returnable within 90 days of purchase for refund minus a restock fee. Personalized custom jewelry can not be returned for refund. A restock fee will be assessed equal to the materials expense of the silver, gold, and stones in the piece due to re-sale potential of a custom piece. Precious metals in the piece will be assessed by weight for the restock fee, and the stone(s) in the piece will be assessed by their current value. However, all workmanship on solder joints, connections, and bezel stone mounts is warrantied for 1 full year from purchase with a no cost repair guarantee. This will include stone cracks if upon inspection the cracking is not due to impact or rough handling. (We reserve the right to exclude stones that are susceptible to shattering when placed in ultra-sonic cleaning units.) The 1 year workmanship warranty is not a refund warranty, it is a no cost repair warranty that includes the cost of shipping to us for the repair, and back to you after the repair is complete. Any repairs necessary due to rough handling, accidents, or non-workmanship causes will be done at a 40% reduced rate during the 1 year warranty period. Shipping costs will be charged for these repairs. Repairs after the 1 year warranty period has expired will be done at a 20% discount. These discounts also apply to cleaning and re-polishing services on metal surfaces and stones. All returns covered under this policy, and warranty, also require a return authorization number. Call Gemtree Creative Designs and request a CUSTOM AUTHORIZATION RETURN NUMBER. All returns on custom designed pieces require this number or the piece will be returned to the owner at their expense.
